“Our preservation of the past is a responsibility to the future.”
- Christopher Tunnard
The Landmark Society of Genesee County was established in December 1964, through the efforts of Mrs. Edward L. (Sally) Osborn, the first president of the Society. Since 1965, the Landmark Society has encouraged local communities and individuals to work together to preserve our architectural heritage.
If you own an older building or are just interested in preservation, consider becoming a member. Your support aids our efforts to preserve and raise awareness of our County’s treasures. As a volunteer-run organization, members are a vital ingredient to the success of our mission.
